About Us

Epic Trace transforms an adventure, an achievement, or a meaningful location into a lasting physical object.

The idea

An exceptional adventure deserves better than a photo forgotten on a phone or a medal stashed in a drawer.

You ran one hundred and seventy kilometers. You climbed that mountain pass you'd been eyeing for years. You hiked to that refuge with your father. And all that remains of it is a file in an app you no longer open.

That is where Epic Trace comes in: giving these moments a physical presence.

What we do

We create custom topographical reliefs, 3D-printed and mounted on an oak base.

Each creation can represent an athletic journey, a personal adventure, a race, a hike, a climb, a cycling route, a trip, a mountain, a region, a place linked to childhood, or a location filled with memories.

When a GPX trace is used, it is highlighted in color against a light or dark gray relief, your choice. But the trace is not mandatory: many of our clients simply want the relief of a place that matters to them.

Technology is not the point

3D printing allows us to create the relief. That is not what gives the object its value.

What matters is the memory. The emotion. Your story. The joy of giving. The pride of displaying your journey.

We do not sell a 3D print. We bring a memory to life.

How we work

You create your relief yourself in our configurator: you choose the location or upload your trace, you adjust the framing, and you view the result in 3D. Then you confirm.

Nothing is manufactured before your approval. Then, we prepare, print, engrave, assemble, and inspect your piece, in order, one by one.

Designed, printed, engraved, and assembled in France. The oak base is crafted with a partner. Made to order, in small batches.

What we do not promise

We prefer to be precise.

• The relief is a decorative topographical representation. Vertical exaggeration may be used to make it more legible. It is neither a navigation tool nor an exhaustive reproduction of the terrain.
• We do not sell or share the 3D file.
• We do not promise an exact delivery date: it depends on the carrier.
